It's amazing how all this torrent client creators don't get it and as soon as their client becomes popular they start thinking of adding all this useless shit despite the users always turning away from bloated ones and being very vocal about how they dislike it. Something for extra security, better speed, or more choices on how to handle my torrents and stuff like that and leave the other bullshit to the programs better fitted for that job. If you want to put new features then put something about torrents. I don't want my freaking torrent client to be a player, DVD burner program or a browser search engine and don't know what else, i have my player thank you very much, just do what you do best and simply be a good torrent client and stop eating my memory with stupid features that other programs more qualified for those jobs can do a lot better. uTorrent used to be the best torrent client with lightweight UI, a clean interface, no spammy ads. Vuze was better back when it was Azureus.

That means your comment is equally pointless as to the first comment. And what version i am running is irrelevant when the question is 3.x related. The ads I can ignore (or disable apparently) and dodge the adware on install. No IT doesnt, it doesnt answer if theres still disk overload issues with version 3, or if theyve been fixed/partly fixed and its safe for people to upgrade if you got a fast connection. 2.2.1 isnt useful for me and I just need a version thats 3.0 or greater to use with Sonarr. That's why I use an older version of uTorrent, they add so much useless crap to these clients over time. So I read that uTorrent (or the newer versions) have silently installed a bitcoin miner and silently install a whole buncha crap. uTorrent will download/upload just as fast as Vuze but it uses much less system resources. The only problem with Vuze is that it unnecessarily hogs system resources for no other reason than it was written in Java. This is what I use and it seems to work fine.
